Commitment ceremony

You may wish to commit to each other without legal aspects:

These can range from:-
– a marriage ‘style’ (without the legal bits) ceremony.
– you can recommit /renew your vows after many years of a loving relationship
– maybe you undertook a simple religious or legal marriage here or overseas just you as a couple , but now you want to enjoy the ceremony and celebrate your love with family and friends.

Option 1 Full ceremony:

 I offer an all-inclusive fee of $550. 

 A deposit of $250 to be paid when we first meet . This is non refundable. The full fee is to be paid within 14 days of the first meeting . 

Then I will go ahead with developing the ceremony, then send you a draft. 

FEES INCLUDE: The invisible hours (10- 12 hrs on average) 

• the creation of the ceremony
• Preparing  the certificate
• All correspondence 
• Communicating with you by phone and/or email.
• Providing you with information about the framework for the ceremony and exploring with you ideas and opportunities to ensure that your ceremony fits with what you want and also provides substance. 
• Sample ceremonies and vows,  symbols and rituals. When you come to the interview you offer your ideas, chose vows from the selection I have , mix and match, or just list the words you believe are important and I will write vows based on those words, or you write them yourselves.

(Including keeping them confidential  from each other until the day if you choose! ).  The ceremony will be very personal and unique to you, working in collaboration with me. I create the first draft of the ceremony and we rework it via email , phone or meeting , as we finalise it.

• Creating and printing the keepsake copy of the ceremony
• Travel to and from the ceremony venue, within 50 k’s of my office
• Briefing  other parties, family members 
• X 1-2   Meetings with the yourselves
• Rehearsal-  1 hour with yourselves
• Use of professional PA system.
• Ceremonial certificate 
• Officiating at your ceremony on the day.

OPTION 2

Simple Type Ceremony in my office or in nearby park, near my office 

$400.00 

 A deposit of $200 to be paid when we first meet. This is non-refundable. The full fee is to be paid within 14 days of the ceremony .

• X1 Meeting with the bride and groom  – discussion of ceremony, date & time.
• Basic ceremony developed with brief personalised comments  
• Preparing and completing all the certificates
• Communicating with you by phone and/or email  
• Stationery, postage and printing costs.
• Use of signing table and table cloth
• Ceremonial certificate.
• Officiating at your ceremony on the day

Additional Costs Apply For

• Travel and accommodation expenses out of metropolitan area. greater than 50 k’s from my office in East Brunswick
• There is an additional cost for extra time or additional rehearsals at your wedding venue or other location depending upon distance and travelling time. ($100 – $150) .
• Formal correspondence for  NOIM /Department of Home Affairs visa applications $100, unless there are  more complex requirements

Refund policy

The $250 deposit is not refundable – unless I am unable to  conduct the ceremony on the day.  The $500 fee (which must be paid no later than 14 days before the arranged ceremony day) is refundable only if written notice of cancellation of the  ceremony is given to me not less than 14 days before the arranged ceremony day OR if I am unable to conduct the ceremony on the  day.  Fees paid (or payable) in respect of  visit to the venue and/or travels costs exceeding 50km in a return journey between my base and the place of ceremony  are not refundable or waivable.
